Living East is the cultural consortium for the East of England, established in 1999 by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. The consortium is the lead advocate for culture in the East of England.

We work to put culture at the heart of life in this region – for every resident and visitor, wherever they are and whoever they are.

We define culture in its broadest sense including the arts, heritage and the built environment, museums, libraries and archives, cultural tourism, digital and screen, sport, creativity and the creative industries.
