Creativity

For the East of England to prosper it must embrace creativity. Business requires an increasingly skilled workforce, able to engage in the knowledge economy and with the ability to think innovatively.

To achieve this we must develop people’s skills and offer the best opportunities in the country for creative people and businesses to attract skilled people to the region.

To turn the region into a creative hub of the UK, we advocate:

  • developing creative capacity
  • forging stronger links between creative people
  • embedding creativity in education
  • supporting the growth of the creative industries
  • providing support to creative businesses and individuals
  • promoting the importance of the creative industries to key decision makers.
