Sport

Sport is a vital component of culture and something which is enjoyed by the large majority of any population, be it through participation or viewing. Just about everyone you know will have a favourite sport, be it football, rugby, mountain biking or something a little more obscure such as caving, but whatever the sport may be, they all share the fact that they are sports in common.

Living East is keen to promote sport in local communities in any ways possible, from encouraging a young community football team to seek local sponsorship to assisting a regional team gain the exposure and support they need.

Are you part of a sports team? Do you enjoy watching a sport but feel it does not get enough recognition? Get in touch with Living East and see if we can help promote and spread the word. In fact the more obscure sport the better, however nothing will be ignored! We look forward to working with you and your team or community.

Media

How do you define ‘media’ in a couple of sentences? Is media the newspapers which you pick up on a daily basis? The websites which you visit? The music which you listen to? It is a very difficult term to pin down to just a few words and if you think something fits into the media category then chances are it does!

Living East are pleased to promote all forms of media within England, ranging from locally run websites, through to musical events and local film making groups, as well as just about everything in between!

Media is an important part of every community and something which we feel needs further development throughout the region to raise awareness and participation. However you would describe media, there is no doubting it’s importance in this day and age!

Promoting Culture, Media & Sport throughout England.

Living East has been set up to promote culture throughout England; be that media, sport, music or indeed anything else which fits under the loose term of ‘culture’.

We aim to inform the public as to what cultural happenings are taking place in England, ranging from muscial events, media productions and presentations through to sporting events and tournaments, as well as focussing on the work taking place within local communities in order to make a difference and increase the awareness of goings on.

We welcome anyone who is involved with any aspect of ‘culture’ within England to get in touch with us and let us know what you are doing! Are you responsible for managing a local community football team? In charge of a local charity division? The producer of a regional media outlet? If so, or if you feel anything you are involved in comes under the category of ‘culture’ then please get in touch and let us know! You never know, you may even see yourself featured on the website!
